Signature Framework
The Principle Ledger
Sanatan's own framework for weighing growth decisions against long-term values before committing to them. Five questions, asked in order, before any growth decision is entered into the books.
Would I make this decision if no one ever found out?
Recognition is not a reason. If the answer changes when the audience disappears, the decision was never about the business.
Does this growth survive a difference in values?
Every partnership eventually meets a disagreement. Ask now whether the relationship can hold one.
Who pays for this if it fails?
Growth that quietly moves risk onto producers, staff, or partners is not growth. It is a loan against trust.
Will this still be defensible in ten years?
The spice trade taught this one. Short-term margin and long-term standing are often on opposite sides of the ledger.
Does it open a door for someone else?
Not every decision must. But the ones that do compound in ways a balance sheet never records.

“Growth matters, but principles matter more.
“Success becomes more meaningful when it creates opportunities for others.
“I'd rather build quietly and let the results speak.
