About this site — and the man behind it.

What this site is

This is the official website of Sanatan Jana, Founder & CEO of Nirjan Jana Group. It brings together his business ventures, his writing on leadership and global trade, and the social initiatives he supports, in one place. Here you can explore the group's companies — Nirjan International, Nirjan SeaSouls, and Umachi & Sons — read essays on management, technology, agriculture, and international business, learn about the Midnapore Rising Scholars Program, and get in touch directly.

Who it is for

The site is written for potential partners and investors evaluating a collaboration, event organisers looking for a speaker, students and young founders seeking mentorship, and scholarship applicants from rural West Bengal who want to understand the program before applying. Journalists and researchers will also find a short and long biography on the Connect page.

Who builds it

The site is built and maintained by Sanatan Jana and the team at Nirjan International, the group's internet, digital marketing, and software company, based in Kolkata, India. Born in 2001 and raised nearly 30 kilometres from Midnapore, Sanatan completed his graduation in 2022 before entering business through the gold and spice trade and going on to found the ventures that now make up Nirjan Jana Group.
